MacKenzie Scott Gave More Than $500M to Historically Black Colleges. Here’s How the Donations Made an Impact

MacKenzie Scott has a long, and well-documented, history of philanthropy, which includes donating millions to historically Black colleges and universities across the country

In 2020, according to a report from Rutgers University, the philanthropist and ex-wife of Jeff Bezos gave a whopping $560 million to 23 HBCUs scattered across the country.

Analyzing the immediate impact of Scott’s donations, Rutgers researchers found that, “on average, the median enrollment of new students was more than 300 students greater for HBCUs that received funding when compared to the median enrollment for those that did not receive funding.”

Additionally, institutions that got donations “attained retention rates fifteen percent higher than institutions that did not receive a donation,” researchers wrote in the 2021 report.

So we see here that Yahuah expects for us to have fruit, and not only to have it but to wear it. Clothing yourselves in the fruit of the ruach is important because fruit always overflow onto the next person. Fruits are not a gift that is simply for you, but it is a gift that Yahuah gives you to help others. When our fruits overflow onto the next person it is like a trickle effect, it just continues to spread among Yah’s people. Sin cannot live in an environment where the fruit of the ruach is ruling. Satan must flee when you have the spirit, for two spirits that are contrary to another cannot reside in the same body. So, the question is, “Who is ruling you? Are you ruling over your sins?”

Is anyone surprised? This is a wake up call to Hebrews who think racism is a thing of the past. The couple did not want blacks in the photos as if being black somehow taints the photos? Once she found out that she was not welcomed, she should have left. Why do Hebrews beg other races to please accept them when they can freely be in the company of other Hebrews who have no problem with them.
